Preparing for the Bar means preparing the whole person.
This coming weekend, the Centurion Bar Operations Commission officially commences its Pre-Bar Lecture Series, beginning with sessions on Mental Well-Being, Stress-Proofing, and Confidence — designed to help our Centurion barristers strengthen not only their legal knowledge, but also their emotional resilience, focus, and inner steadiness for the months ahead.

Headlining this weekend’s sessions is Dra. Nina Kristy “Nikki” Osorio-Grapilon, a board-certified psychiatrist and Fellow of the Philippine Psychiatric Association, whose work centers on mental wellness, emotional resilience, psychotherapy, counseling, and compassionate patient care. With her clinical background in helping individuals manage stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges, Dra. Nikki brings a timely and meaningful perspective to the Bar journey — reminding our barristers that psychological readiness is an essential part of preparation.

This is only the beginning. Throughout the month of May, the Centurion Bar Operations Commission will continue to roll out more Pre-Bar Lecture Series sessions aimed at equipping our barristers with the academic, practical, and personal tools they need as they move closer to the 2026 Bar Examinations.
The road to the Bar can be demanding, but no barrister should have to face it feeling overwhelmed or alone. Through this lecture series, we aim to remind our future Centurion lawyers that mental well-being is part of Bar readiness, and that confidence is built through preparation, support, discipline, and the courage to keep going.
As we move forward toward #AweSAMbar2026, may our barristers continue to prepare with clarity, resilience, hope, and grit.
